About the FGBC

We are a small, self-governing collective (with a figure-head) of bike enthusiasts. Some of us even ride them.

Starting most inauspiciously as a Tuesday Night post hockey gathering, some FGBC members didn't even own a bicycle when the Klub was forged. True. Friendship and BS brought us together and binds us still. A generally negative disposition toward keeners, principalities and powers may be a thread. We don't really know.

A bumbling effort in 2003 to get a mountain biking ride (outside the city no less) organized cast the template for the single best event of the year. The Spring Ride.

Some of the first minutes seem to survive as proof of our humble beginning.
